Presentation copy from the estate and working library of Massimo and Lella Vignelli, personally inscribed on the title page by Miyawaki specifically to Lella Vignelli, “Pour Lella Vignelli,” and additionally “Aiko ’93 Barcelona,” with an original three-line ink drawing between the inscriptions, closely related to the sweeping linear forms of the artist’s Utsurohi sculptures. A notable woman artist-to-woman designer association, documenting a direct connection between two significant figures in postwar art and design. Hinges weakened. Light bumping and rubbing to extremities.
