Catalog of a retrospective exhibition of Elsa Peretti’s iconic designs for Tiffany, held at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1990, marking her 15th year with the company at age 50. Peretti (1940-2021), the Italian jewelry designer, philanthropist, and one-time fashion model, gained international recognition for her award-winning and commercially successful collections for Tiffany, sculptural and spare, with titles such as Bones, Zodiac, Mesh, Bean, and Open Heart. 19 pages loose leaf folio (some of which fold out) laid in a cloth clamshell case. Pages decorated like a scrapbook of pictures with sources of inspiration and brief anecdotes about her design process. 11.5” x 8.25”. Near fine leaves, some rubbing and toning to clamshell case.
