Featherston Chairs

$350.00

Catalog accompanying an exhibition of modernist chairs by Australia’s pre-eminent postwar furniture designer Grant Featherston (1922-1995), held at the National Gallery of Victoria from 30 March-7 August 1988. Includes also Featherston’s Pop-influenced designs in fiberglass and Polyurethane from the 1960’s and early 1970’s, including work visually related to that of Pierre Paulin. Edited and written by Terence Lane with additional text by Grant Featherston. 4to (8.25” x 11.75”), pictorial wrappers, 71 pages, b/w photos and illustrations including interior shots and ads. Light bumping and soiling to extremities.
