Source for the 1987 Broadway play starring James Earl Jones (pictured on the cover here) and the 2016 Denzel Washington film starring Washington and Viola Davis. Winner of the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, New York Drama Critic's Award, and Tony Award for Best Play. Bottom edge of textblock stamped. Inventory control strip applied to verso of rear wrapper, with light discoloration visible on rear wrapper. Creasing to joints. Minor bumping and toning to extremities.
