Graphiti Manifesti 1984/1986 (Inscribed by Andrea Rauch to Massimo Vignelli)
First edition monograph showcasing the mid-1980’s poster designs of renowned Italian graphic designer, illustrator, and educator Andrea Rauch and his design collaborator Stefano Rovai. Published in 1987 in Firenze by Press 80. Text in Italian by Goffredo Fofi, Aldo Colonetti, and Gunter Rambow. Andrea Rauch (1948-2025) notably designed images for political , social, and cultural movements such as Greenpeace, UNICEF and Amnesty International. His posters are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art New York, the Musee de la Publicite of the Louvre, and others. Square 4to (10” x 10”), hardcover with pictorial dust jacket, 99 pages replete with color and b/w illustrations, many full-page. Warmly inscribed on the FFE to graphic design legend Massimo Vignelli. With the following items laid in: two 5.75” x 8” postcards, 3 smaller postcards in a Graphiti s.d.f. envelope, and a handwritten letter in Italian from Rauch to Vignelli also in a Graphiti s.d.f. envelope.
