Brochure accompanying an exhibition of works by Neo-Surrealist Italian/Mexican artist and designer Pedro Friederg, held at New York City’s Byron Gallery from April 28-May 16, 1964. Included were 33 ink drawings with titles such as A Leak in the Blood Bank, The Ventriloquist’s Revenge, A Short History of Stuttering, Two Houses for Jealous Dentists, and Triptych for a Bereaved Cyclops. Included too were “A few chairs, several clocks, and other objects.” 8vo, printed wrappers, 10 pages, with b/w images featuring a photo of Freideberg with his famous hand chair surrounded by an array of fantastical clocks and figures. Scarce. Moderate damp staining to edges of front wrapper. Light bumping and rubbing to extremities.
